No. As long as Taylor was dead they loved her, especially the twins.
And even later Tom didn't always hate Brooe, on the contrary he even had a crush on her.
Brooke supported Tom with his own line Taboo when Ridge didn't.

Exactly. It seems to me that Thomas is transferring his anger towards his mother's garbage parenting...to the stepmother who was never anything but good to him. Brooke was more of a mother to the Tots than Taylor ever was.
