Douglas is the Forrester conscience (Spoilers)

I question whether Steffy would have stepped forward without Douglas’ confession, but she could not look at him and maintain the lie. I have to give her credit. My only problem with the fallout is Steffy went overboard pushing for months. She declared war on the Logans. Thomas defended at least Hope. Steffy needs to own that.

Until Douglas confessed, Steffy didn't know Thomas had done anything wrong.

Steffy didn't know about the fake CPS call, but it still doesn't erase the fact she has been the ring leader who declared a war against Brooke in the first place..then she barked order at Thomas they must rid of Brooke for good, so he did in his own evil way. She ain't no innocent in this entire mess!

No, she's not innocent, but Ridge knew his kids wanted him married to Taylor and not Brooke. He didn't know about the call.

His kids are rotten to the core, but I don't feel sorry for him either though given the fact he already knew Thomas hasn't changed when he purposely chose to keep his secret of conspiring with psycho Sheila. What makes him believe that his relentless brats won't scheme at all costs until they get what they want? Shame on him!

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
