I think he loves both women for different reasons. But after his thinking Brooke called CPS on his son, his reasons for loving her are overshadowed by his feelings of being deceived and disrespected by her. It’s not what happened but it’s how he sees it based on what he believes Brooke did. He feels with Taylor, there’s less drama and more stability in their relationship. And that’s what he wants at this point in life.

Taylor does not bring stability. It’s all fake.

Seriously. Since she came back, all there has been is one drama after another. Her kids revived up their Parent Trap drama. Then because Taylor insisted upon Sheila, she revived up her Sheila drama. Then Taylor BFFs a psycho. Plus, Taylor never counseled Thomas properly, and she started all the "where's the biology" drama.

That's all Taylor brings is confusion.

Confusion, drama, and chaos is all Ridge would have with Taylor. And lies, lies, lies.
