today was really uncomfortable to watch, he's the only kid sitting there, he's clearly not happy yet not one of them noticed it because they're all wrapped up in themselves, if liam or hope were there, they would see it immediately, what thomas is putting this kid through again is disgusting

It really is disgusting. It's bad enough that Ridge just blurted it out and everyone started yelling back and forth. But for Douglas to have to sit there knowing that he could clear it all up by telling what he knows but not being able to because of Thomas...that's just straight up emotional abuse.

Yep. Thomas might as well have duct taped the boy. What I don't get is why he insisted Douglas go. He should have let Douglas stay upstairs. Douglas sitting at the top of the stairs listening would have been just as effective. It was abuse to make him even sit through the party knowing how he feels.

That was the cruelest part. Not only making him keep a secret, but to have to keep it in a room full of people that are being affected by it.

Lope is definitely going for full custody after this. Brooke needs to take out a restraining order too. And when Thomas inevitably violates it...she can have him arrested.

What evil Thomas did to Douglas (again) is inexcusable. I think Douglas will want to go back to live with Lope all on his own. So if the rest of the faux Forresters fight Lope knowing Douglas wants to go back living with Lope AND the fact Thomas abused his son again..then they are just as evil as Thomas.
