Hope clearly looks nervous and uncomfortable

Hope is eating up the complements from Thomas and basking in his admiration. If she’s not interested in him she couldn’t be handling the situation any worse imo. If I were Hope, and if I truly had no interest in Thomas, I would change the subject every time he started in with the flattery and I would have told him he should go out with the model. I also would have knelt down next to Douglas and gently but firmly explained reality to him last week. Needless to say I would not be spending nights at the mansion with Beth either.

Hope never stopped Thomas from dating or having his own personal life. Today, that model Petra was flirting with Thomas and even asked him out, yet it was Thomas himself turning her down. Hope didn't even look bothered in fact she never paid attention to them flirting..she was looking down at her ipad the whole time Petra and Thomas flirted. It's NOT Hope's fault that Thomas is so obsessed with her and refused to have his own dating life..that is totally on him only.

Right. I’m not saying anything is Hope’s “fault”, including the state of Thomas’s dating life, just that she’s dumb as a rock when it comes to handling unwanted male attention. My point is she passed up the opportunity to push him towards someone else which would have made him take notice. If she encouraged him to take the model up on her offer that would make Thomas realize she has zero interest in him. Better yet she could have suggested a double date with her and Liam. That would say “I don’t want you Thomas” loud and clear.

Thomas is a grown man, so it's not Hope's responsibility to push him to go on a date with a model. And Hope has never shown any romantic interest in Thomas..and he KNOWS it. She has never made a move on him or initiated a kiss on him..ever. His obsession and his Thope fantasy is purely on him only.

It always amazes me how much blame Hope and Brooke get when they are clearly being targeted by other characters...usually Thomas and Steffy.
