I don't blame the actor here.
If I were MA, I would want something new. Either Thomas is the good guy for a while wins over Hope's heart (at least temporarily) or he definitely moves on from Lope and finds a new gal. Almost 4 years stuck in the same triangle with the exact same outcome, that's not funny. In any good triangle, both chasers must have their turn and "win" the prize, then lose it. He has been obsessed for 4 years with a woman who wants nothing to do with him.

Summer previews: Thomas is on the right path, he will find love that will mature him.
Summer is long over, he is on the wrong path and more obsessed with Hope than ever.
What happened? Did Bell change his mind?

I'd forgotten about that spoiler. Is it possible the love was a love for his son, the love of a father? Or, as you said, Bell bailed on the love interest story.

I think BB is just trying to sell us Ridge and Taylor, and a lot of us aren't buying it since they are only together because of Thomas' fake call to CPS. I know Ridge and Taylor do have some fans, and that's fine, I'm not out to change who people like, but I won't even watch the show until Ridge and Taylor have broken up.

Anyway, BB seems to be concentrating so much on Ridge and Taylor and Thomas' deteriorating mental state that there's no room for a Thomas love affair. I don't want to see him with a bossy person like Sally Spectra myself. I'd rather he be with someone softer, and CH is doing better at Y&R than she ever did at B&B. I don't like Sally there, either, but I wish CH all the best. Glad to see she's getting some major airtime over there. Personally, I've given up that show, too, for the most part. Too much Chelsea, Victoria, and Sally for me.

I really liked Thomas when he seemed reformed and bonding well with Douglas. Those were sweet scenes.

I do not trust anything Fame10 says. They just make up stuff. The site is clickbait.
