Let Ridge go and be with his safe harbor, melatonin, lavender, backup plan.They can run up and down the mountains with Ridge grunting and Taylor wearing that stupid skull cap forever for all I care. As a viewer/Brooke fan this would be a win/win for me.

It will FINALLY shut Steffy up with the ridiculous parent trap talk.

It will free Brooke up for a story in which two hot guys are fighting over her. Yes, Deacon is trash right now. But the writers can change that up in a nano second. In the end I wouldn't want Brooke to end up with Deacon. I'd prefer Bill. But a triangle with Brooke in the middle is just what the Brooke character needs right now, after 9 long months of misery.

And then we'd have the added bonus of watching Steffy and Taylor's faces crack when Ridge starts getting jealous of the attention Brooke is getting from Bill and Deacon.

And I have a feeling Brooke would sign the papers. Maybe Hope talks her into letting Ridge go.

You're getting way too much ahead of yourself here. A Deacon vs Bill triangle?
I'll tell you what will happen. Today Brooke will reject Deacon's proposal and he'll go back to his broom closet with toeless Sheila. Tomorrow it'll be Bill's turn. He will come to Brooke's house, and she will shut him down just like she did every single times since 2017. Bill will go back to the supporting character he has been every since Vinny's story wrapped up.
If anything happens between Brooke and another guy, it's gonna be Liam. The foundations have been planted. They won't sleep together (Bell has always protected these 2, so it would be too much), but I bet there will be a questionable hug, Thomas will see it and use it to his advantage. I can see him taking a pic of Brooke in Liam's arms and then using the voice app to make Hope and Ridge think Brooke had an affair with Liam. This scenario is much more likely to happen than Brooke reuniting with Deacon or Bill.

If Bill and Deacon continue to chase Brooke even after she rejects them, they are gonna look like stalkers who can't take no for an anwer. No different from Thomas with Hope (or Taylor with Ridge). If Brooke says no, they need to move on or they'll belong in the same trash bin as the other sexual predators.
I think Brooke won't be in the moods to romance anyone given what's happening with Douglas, Liam, Hope and Thomas. Her number #1 focus will be her daughter and she will try to make sure Thomas stays away from her.
Tridge on the back burner? Please. They won't even stay together long enough to join the backburner. Until this CPS storyline has wrapped up, Taylor and Ridge will be front and center. The only way they join the backburner is if they stay together after the reveal and Ridge isn't torn anymore and totally commits to Taylor. Will never happen.

Don't spoil my fun.

I know Bridge will wind up back together eventually. I did love today's episode, though. Ridge ends it with Brooke and within an hour two guys are professing their love for her. We need more of this and less of Brooke crying.

These men see Brooke as a piece of meat. Proposing to her while she is agonizing, in tears, the day after the love of her life walked out on her? They have zero respect for her. She is just a sex toy and it isn't a good look for Deacon and Bill. That episode just showed me how self-sentered and repulsive they are. I usually like Bill, but not today.

Invite her for a dinner or a cinema when she is officially free and has accepted Ridge isn't coming back. That, I would accept. But not this.

I didn't see that at all. I think they genuinely love her.
