I guess the filming style fluctuates; sometimes it is 3 weeks and other times, it is 4-6 weeks; I guess it depends on the schedule.

I am not exactly sure if Patrick Duffy (Stephen) has filmed yet since both Eva Basler and Katherine Kelly Lang both put out a tweets yesterday that they are “so excited” to have him back on—so it sounds to me that they are looking forward to have him on set. Also, KKL also just came back from a week trip in Italy, and Stephen is evidently back for the Logan girls. Another aspect Krista Allen announcement as the nuTaylor was announced weeks ahead before she even filmed, so there are times where casting news occur even when the actor has yet stepped foot on set.

With that all being said, I am not sure if Thanksgiving has been filmed yet (and it is going to be the traditional one since Casey said so in Bold Live weeks ago), but it will presumably be filmed either this week or the following week.

Henry deleted that photo but the caption was something along the lines of “I took this selfie with Naomi weeks ago”. I am confident that this picture is for an upcoming wedding and not thanksgiving.

Yes, after a hiatus they are usually less than 3 weeks ahead, and when they return to the set they are slowly catching up so that they are at least 6 weeks ahead before the next hiatus. The location shoot in Aspen, for example, was on September 11 & 12, but those scenes aired about 4 weeks later, And KKL posted pictures from the set thanking the stylists for her look on October 5, almost exactly 3 weeks ago, but we haven't seen her wear that outfit on screen yet, not even in the promo for this week when she's walking in on Hope and Thomas. So they must be more than 3 weeks ahead by now.

I think announcing the recast of a main character is a different situation. The news about the Ridge recast were also released long before TK's first day of shooting. But when it's about a recurring character returning or a guest appearance, then I don't remember the show ever releasing any news before the actor was actually on set. Probably PD's scenes were even filmed yesterday. That would still tie in with the tweets from his coworkers being excited to have him back.

Anyway, it all depends on the question if this picture has really been taken weeks ago or not. Because it seems strange that the post was deleted again. Maybe this pic was taken yesterday after all and Henry's parents wanted to schedule a post for a later date, once those scenes have aired, but accidentally uploaded it right away.
