You kind of make sound like Taylor is just some rando not a woman Ridge shares lots history with. They have children and grandchildren together. They lost a child together. Ridge will always love Brooke but he loves Taylor too.

I am not saying he does not love Taylor. I am saying that we watched this same scenario with Shauna, whom he did not love or have a child with, but he planned to stick it out anyway. Let me put it to you this way. Ridge gets his ego hurt and he reaches out to the first security blanket he can find. Taylor happened to be it. Shauna was it the last time. Whomever is convenient is his go-to when Brooke "disappoints" him.

But what is more important IMO is the guilt that will be heaped on Ridge's back when the truth comes out. It will be like a ton of bricks on him. And, when his mother pulled her fake heart attack scam, he was angry and went to Brooke and asked her to wait and give him time, she said "nope". But, that is going to be nothing to the weight of guilt that he is going to be feeling this time. He already knows his son was in cahoots with Sheila and harmed Brooke before, now his son has done it again. Personally, I am looking forward to watching Ridge fall apart. It is time. I hope he ends up with ED over it and cannot perform with Taylor at all. LMAO!!
