How can so many people look stupid in one episode?

How in the world can so many people look so dumb in one episode? The only person I think in the whole eppie that wasn't acting dumb, naive or stupid was Liam. Next, Brooke. Otherwise, the rest of them -- what the hell are any of them thinking?

Deacon -- if it's not a fantasy. Come on, now. You really think Brooke was gonna take that ring? It probably came out of a gumball machine anyway.

Hope -- Girl. You are right about Ridge -- BUT....you know good and well your mom ain't trying to hear that from Deacon! And you didn't even check to see if Deacon was packing! He shot Brooke point-blank with a ring and a proposal. You should have protected your parents better.

Bill -- Bill is making all the sense in the world -- except that Broke is coming to him. You can't get more delusional. Oh, wait. You can. See Deacon above.

Steffy -- You pity Brooke? Don't let that "mango?" Then don't get mad when Hope and Brooke and Donna feel the same fruity way, witch.

Taylor -- OMG, She's like the female Peter Pan. Grow the hell up. I'm tired of her "cutesie" ways. All Ridge had to do was say he wanted her and he doesn't have to prove a damn thing from there on out. She'll get him a house and everything with her giggly, childish self. I guess she found the pot of gold at the end of her fake rainbow.

Brooke -- No. Nope. Let that man go. Sign whatever papers to end your marriage Carter sends over there.

Deacon- As the saying goes "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". Is his proposal likely to fail? Hell yeah but I can't blame the man for trying. I just wonder how long he's had that ring.

Hope- I was relieved that she saw the light where Bridge is concerned but encouraging Deacon was kinda silly.

Bill- Is full of himself as always

Steffy- Eh

Taylor- I found her to be sweet and romantic. I appreciate her giddiness.
