Why isn't Liam with Kelly

Finn has returned, and Kelly's family drawings never include Liam, but she includes Finn each time. Clearly, Kelly doesn't need Liam.

Well, as long as Liam doesn't put Kelly or Hayes in Sheila's (or any other serial murderer) arms behind Steffy's back (after promising her he won't), I don't think Finn can say anything about Liam's parenting skills. He endangered his own child's life when he chose to make this decision. Nothing can justify that. He knew every single gory details about Sheila's past and her dark history including with children. Steffy had just made him promise he wouldn't let Sheila anywhere near him or her children. She leaves for 5 minutes, comes back and finds Sheila in her living room, happily holding Hayes and Finn allowing it.
And where was the super doctor, when his patient abused pills and passed out on the sofa with Kelly sleeping in the other room ? Who saved Steffy, took Kelly and figured out her mom had an addiction and needed help ? It was Liam. Even Finn acknowledged he should have seen the signs and he thanked Liam for informing him. Just because Kelly and Hayes are too young to understand/remember doesn't change what happened.

Has Liam ever done anything that endangered Kelly, Douglas or Beth's lives? Have Liam's parenting skills even been questionned in a storyline? The answer is clearly no for both questions. Bell isn't very subtle when a parent neglects his child. He wrote a long storyline with Bill and Will in 2018. All of a sudden Katie started whining that Bill wasn't spending time with his son and she wanted sole custody. There was a whole storyline with Ridge and Thorne bribing the judge so Bill would lose the custody hearing. This issue has never been brought up or even hinted, where Liam and Kelly are concerned. Steffy is a very straightforward person, she doesn't keep quiet if she is unsatisfied with something or someone. If there was anything wrong with Liam and Kelly, she would call him out and tell him exactly what needs to change.

Kelly drew a family picture when Finn reappeared in the hotel room in Monaco. Everyone was happy he was back, and Kelly drew a picture, like every children do. Douglas also drew picture of himself, Liam and Hope, it doesn't mean he thinks Liam is his father. Not sure what it has to do with Liam, who has acknowledged more than once he is happy Kelly has a stepfather and he isn't one bit jealous or insecure about their relationship. He and Bill majorly contributed to Finn's return and Mike's arrest, and Liam was overjoyed to know Kelly would get stepfather back. Kelly and Liam had scenes earlier this year, it was made clear there is no issue between them. They have a great father/daughter relationship. No ambiguity here
