There was no doubt in my mind,,,

Me either. I mean, you never know what these writers will do for the shock value. But I would have been absolutely SHOCKED if Hope did that. Plus, story wise, it didn't make any sense. It's just been revealed that Thomas is still a sicko. That's what this story is about.
