I agree...if today is about Liam and Hope trying to find out what happened in Aspen and what set it off it doesn´t look as if "the kiss" was reality...I don´t think Hope would kiss Tom passionately and then just go home and talk to Liam and Brooke about Aspen.

Well, they didn't do anything today to try to find out. I hope they don't drag this out till spring. Or summer.

I don't think they can drag this out for anywhere near that long. No one is going to tune in to watch Tridge play happy family for months on end. They'll have to break them up soon...or put them on the backburner until they do.
