Definitely not bipolar.
He is obsessive, and he seems to have sociopathic tendencies. But I don't know that he is mentally ill. I see him as a troubled, spoiled rich kid that has never had to face any consequences because his family covers for him. My opinion may change depending on how this story goes.

I don't think he has sociopathic tendencies. I think he's a full-on psychopath. He can appear charming and normal when he wants to, and he's not constantly in trouble with the law. He's also more manipulative than a sociopath and not as prone to rage.
