It was priceless. Mom and daughter giggling about a horrible stunt Steffy pulled on Hope. Those are two really sad women.

I don't know why the writers would even think that was funny. It makes Steffy and Taylor look really bad.

Maybe that was the intention...

I've been wondering about that for almost a year now. Especially Steffy. She's been written so badly. There has to be a reason for it. Why would they write her this way? She's absolutely insufferable.

I have a theory that it's all about Sheila's redemption. Steffy is so insufferable that fans are actually rooting for Sheila to kidnap Hayes. I've seen it here a few times. People have all but forgotten how horrible Sheila was throughout spring and summer. And Steffy, Taylor and Thomas are of course Teflon. Nothing sticks to them. Once Sheila's story is over they will just go about their merry lives like nothing happened. Thomas might get a slap on the wrist but that's it.

I thought it was because they were trying to make her into the next Stephanie. I don't think so anymore, though. They're not just writing her as mean and nasty, they're also writing her cartoonish, with the immature parent trap stuff.
