I thought the same thing, all it took was a conk on his noggin by a pine cone, made him smile like he had a sudden epithiany.Too much!

Maybe Brooke should slam him over the head with a frying pan to remind the jerk that he is married, and should not be flattered that the old biddy that he use to be married to, is pining away for him,

Pining away for him? Is that what the meaning of the pine cone was?

LOL. I like it. Ridge's epiphany from the pine cone is, he knows that Taylor is "pining" for him, and that means she will put up with anything from him. LOL
