Why would Douglas call CPS on his father himself and use grandma´s voice for it? He certainly couldn´t be certain how they would react - what if they took him away from dad? It would be risky.
And if he really was such a hard-boiled little brat, a sly little schemer like his father and Aunt Steffy, what became of the sweet and truthful little boy who knew what is right and wrong, who told Liam that "Phoebe is Beth"?

Douglas wouldn't do it.

Wouldn't he need a sample of Brooke's voice?
