The Spencer men look normal next to the Forresters/Logan

These faux-Spencer men were always too obnoxious for me. Liam has NO RIGHT to make digs at Taylor the way he did even yesterday. He was just a complete nobody until he discovered he was the heir to an empire overnight, and he will never be in the same league as Thomas whom he is so threatened by.

How does the fact that Liam only met his father in his 20s mean that he's a nobody who isn't in Thomas' league or has no right to make digs at Taylor? What has Thomas achieved on his own in his life that puts him in another league than Liam? He may be a talented designer, but how does that make him a better person than a talented IT guy or a talented executive at SP? Just because he was raised in a rich family from the first day of his life while Liam wasn't? Seriously?
And how is Taylor above Liam when she was also a complete nobody before she met Ridge?

I say it's only a matter of time before Liam and Brooke hook up, which even Scott Clifton said he feared in an interview a few months ago. LOL. Bill AND Liam are both so besotted by her.

SC was just joking when he brought up that potential storyline. He never said he "feared" anything like that.

I know what you mean about the Forresters acting like they walk on water, but that's just how a lot of privileged, rich people are. Those who GREW UP that way, I mean - not upstarts like Bill, Wyatt and Liam.

And just because people grew up in a rich family they have a right to act that way, while those who only learn as adults that they are heirs to an empire don't?

Steffy's hatred is not strange to me. Old wounds can take forever to heal. Getting Finn back reminded Steffy of all the time she lost with Taylor between 2002 and 2005 - which was at least 8 soap years when you consider the fact that Steffy and Thomas were all grown up when Taylor came back from the dead. She knows how happy her parents were together, and knows that Brooke was doing everything within her power to wreck that marriage, even though the Brookester now acts like marriage is something to be respected. ROTFLOL.

Steffy also knows that Brooke was a wonderful stepmother to her and her siblings for all those years that Taylor was presumed dead, loving them like her own. As a preteen, Steffy was devastated when Bridge broke up after RJ's paternity test had been manipulated, and she was overjoyed when they reunited. So her hatred IS strange. How can she still remember Brooke trying to wreck her parents' marriage decades ago when she was still a little child (or not even born yet) but totally dismiss the way Brooke was there for her and her siblings when she was in her formative years?

Being reunited with Finn, AND seeing how happy Ridge and Taylor are at all their family gatherings together reinforces to Steffy that Brooke was the INTERLOPER in the Forrester family. That was Brooke's role from day one - first with Ridge and Caroline, then with Eric and Stephanie, with Ridge and Taylor, Thorne and Macy, the list goes on.

Steffy wasn't even alive yet when most of that happened. When she was born, Brooke had already been a Forrester for almost a decade, longer than Taylor, and had two Forrester kids. So how can Steffy remember Brooke as an interloper in the Forrester family, especially when no other Forrester but Stephanie ever regarded Brooke as an interloper in the first place?

And whereas Taylor NIPPED Deacon's interest and advances IN THE BUD, Brooke still relishes the attention she gets from guys like Bill. Steffy knows what her stepmother is like.

Where in last week's scenes was Brooke relishing Bill's attention? She did exactly the same thing Taylor did with Deacon. She listened to Bill when he asked her for advice about Katie, and as soon as he changed the subject, reminiscing about their history and wondering what could have been, she put the brakes on it, telling him they share some nice memories but she's happily married to Ridge now. Just because she gave him a friendly hug before he left, to wish him good luck and encourage him to fight for Katie, doesn't mean she was relishing his attention any more than Taylor was relishing Deacon's.
