Taylor is always trying to impress Ridge. Everything she says is for him to think positively about her. I thought this was a new thing until I went back and watched old episodes and noticed that she always fed him the things she thought he wanted to hear. She said years ago that she always felt this need to be perfect around him or she would lose him.

She went to school to learn how to play mind games with people and she learned her lessons well... This is Taylor to the core... The only differences between the two actresses is that HT played Taylor as being more subtle in her manipulations. She kept her cards close to the vest. KA's version is more in your face with her manipulations.
