Brooke is Probably Having Flashbacks

With Taylor on the other side of the world and Stephanie dead, Brooke thought everything was good. Now that Taylor's back, Ridge is spending lots of time with her, and Steffy has fully embraced her grandma's role as Tridge Cheerleader-in-Chief, Brooke has to be having flashbacks to when she was being routinely owned by the OG and Ridge dumped her for his Doc. I guess that's what happens when much of your husband's family hates your guts.

I think that is what happens when your husbands family and his old ex-wife are mentally ill, and hate you because they refuse to look in the mirror and own what they have done to ruin their own lives. Narcissistic people like Steffy and Taylor would never be able to own anything they do wrong, that takes humility and maturity, and they have neither.

It takes sanity and self-awareness, and I think both characters - Taylor and Steffy - are lacking in those qualities as well.

They need to face the truth: Brooke always has been and always will be the love of Ridge's life. If throws one of his tantrums and hooks up with Taylor, that's what it'll be: a hook-up. He'll get back together with Brooke eventually, and Taylor will be the world's biggest fool yet again. I'd feel sorry for her, but she's such an odious character that sympathy is impossible.
