Once again, two separate conversations that couldn't have been further apart. Bill and Brooke, warm, sentimental, remembering their time together in an adult and fond way.

This adult and fond remembrance and being sentimental comes entirely at the expense of Brooke's sister, Katie. Brooke and Bill both betrayed Katie, not just once, but several times. That's not "adult" nor should it be warm and sentimental. It should be with shame because of the horrible way that Brill treated Katie.

Meh.....Katie has always been her own worst enemy. Outside of that, Brooke and Bill developed feelings for each other while trying to find Katie, who had run off during her bout with PPD. These feelings developed over a long period of time, and they did not have sex until a year later after Bill got drunk and wrecked his car. Katie came in with sweeping proclamations and hysteria, took her rings off and wished Brooke and Bill well. In any event, Katie had her revengemance with Ridge, going so far as to fake a heart issue during Brooke and Ridge's wedding. Not a nice thing to do to those that love you. Katie and Bill became toxic for each other, and their romance is now staler than month old bread, but Bill and Brooke's ship has sailed, and it is time for Bill to move on to Li. They should have kept the Carter and Katie thing going; that was becoming very interesting.

Also, the comment was not about how the relationship came about; it was about the conversation Bill and Brooke had on yesterday's episode.

It doesn't matter what Katie is or has been, she IS Brooke's sister, and Brill betrayed her over and over. The conversation that Brill had included how they got started, even going so far as to mentioning the balloon ride in Aspen, and all of that was based on betrayal, so in no way, imo, is any conversation that Brill had about their memories going to be adult, nor should it be fond, sentimental or warm.
