That maternal pull is always there

It's strange to see the two storylines play out together. Hope's child being taken out of her home at the same time Sheila is obsessing over spending time with Finn and Hayes.

The writers baffle me in that they can write two completely different ways at the same time with the exact same material.

Douglas and Finn each have non-biological mothers. They each have crazy bio-parents. But Douglas' father's misdeeds get covered up and he's deemed a good parent. Sheila -- notsomuch. I get that Sheila's crimes are different, but in light of Taylor's....I'm not really buying it.


I'm not buying it at all, either.


Thomas may have done some messed up things but sheila is in a totally different league

Chasing a woman to her death and not calling 911 when he did it, is not a "messed up thing" it was evil. Same goes for keeping parents in the dark that the baby they thought was dead, was not, she had been illegally bought by his mother and handed over to his sister to raise. Again, pure evil.
