Finn was not adopted
Zende insinuated that Finn was adopted today. Zende said, "As someone who is adopted, too, I'm sure you've been dealing with some pretty complicated emotions."
Shouldn't Zende have said, "As someone who is adopted," or "As someone who also wasn't raised by his biological mother?"
I guess I'm supposed to know what Zende means, but it also would be nice if the writers would watch stuff like this.
If Finn wasn't adopted, what was he? He didn't know jack was his father until recently.
It's like Ridge and Eric.
Stephanie knew that Ridge could be Massimo's, though, and Eric's name was always the only one on Ridge's birth certificate.
Li was not Finn's biological mother, so she had to adopt him, and since Jack lied to her for 30+ years, he had to pretend to adopt Finn as well.
I don't personally consider Ridge and Finn's situations at all similar. Ridge was raised by one birth parent and one who thought of himself as a birth parent for some time. Finn and Li always assumed Jack had no biological connection to Finn.
