Ridge doesn't want Brooke to get hurt.

Really? He lets his ex pretend to be his wife at family gatherings. He lets his kids go on and on and on and on about this reunion. He doesn't insist Brooke go to gatherings JUST to prove a point, and yet he doesn't want her to get hurt?

I hate to tell Ridge, but that kind of alienation as hurt written all over it. What kind of idiot is he not to know how much this hurts ALL of them? Taylor's so hurt right now, she's unloading on the fridge. He needs to stop.

He doesn't want to hurt either one of them (BS) and he's actually hurting both of him with his actions. Most especially he's hurting his wife who he claims to love and want to be with. This guys ego is so large he doesn't care that he's hurting them both as long as they continue to worship at his big ugly feet. Ridge is a loathsome toad and Brooke can do a million times better than him.

He was saying he did not want her to be hurt by feeling left out because his daughter has a blatant agenda. But, there may have been another reason too, that he wants to bail on Brooke, but he knows she has done nothing to deserve it, and it would hurt her if he just left her without cause. It would also make him feel like the horse's ass he is, and that is the last thing he wants. I am sure he will be THRILLED to catch Brill hugging, even though it will be innocent.

I am so glad I'm not watching.
