Brooke and Taylor demand Ridge chooses his side when it comes to Douglas

Deacon steps in when Sheila makes a move on FINN and STEFFY!!!!

Ridge hates Deacon with a passion and Ridge/Steffy never thanked Deacon for being a hero calling 911, so what's the point of Deacon stepping in or trying to stop Sheila making a move on Sinn? It's not like Ridge/Steffy will ever appreciate anything good Deacon does..no matter what nice he does, they will always blame him and riducule him as the bad guy.

Because there is absolutely nothing to appreciate in Deacon. Calling 911 DOES NOT make him a hero. He doesn't even know Steffy and Finn, he wouldn't benefit from it if they died. He called 911 because he was at the right place at the right time and he didn't want 2 innocent people to die. He has already proved he is capable of COLD BLOODED MURDER, and more than once. Calling 911 for 2 unknown people doesn't redeem him.

I don't think Steffy even knows Deacon is the one who called 911. If someone told her it was off screen.

As for Ridge, Deacon would still be in jail if it weren't for him. Ridge is the one who stopped Deacon from murdering Quinn. If Deacon had succeeded in his multiple attempts to kill his ex-wife, his punishment would've been 3x worse.

Regardless, 1 good action in a lifetime isn't going to change the kind of person Deacon is. Sheila was going to impale Deacon's daughter with her scissors if Hope had recognized her. Deacon put his daughter in danger because he chose to protect Sheila, but apparently it didn't teach him any lesson. Deacon is still protecting her and lying to everyone. Ridge is 100% right about him. He can cheat on Brooke and Taylor all he wants, he will still be 100% correct about Deacon. The bum hasn't changed and never will.

And Deacon can do all kinds of wrong protecting Sheila, he's still 100% a hero saving Steffy/Finn's lives by calling 911. Deacon KNEW who Steffy and Finn were cuz it was shown on screen he said their names when he found them bleeding out. If it hadn't been for him and Li too, Steffy would still be in a depression. Yet, it's because of Deacon and Li that Sinn reunited. Time for ungrateful Ridge to get down on his hands and knees kissing Deacon's feet for Steffy being alive today. LOL.

I am sorry calling an ambulance is not heroic. I wouldn't even expect a thank you. And I believe Deacon would have done the same for anyone because it is the decent thing to do.

Problem is Ridge is still in denial that Deacon can do something decent for once..as he continues to badmouths Deacon even in front of Deacon’s daughter. Ridge is rude and arrogant.

No argument there. Deacon is not a hero and Ridge is an ass. I prefer Deacon to Ridge anyday,,
