I disagree... Storylines like these do nothing to help the cause of rape victims... .. Just because Bell is still reading bodice ripping novels of the 80s wanted to whitewash his creepy heroes and have their victims pretend it was something romantic does not mean what they did was not rape.. . Juries all over this country have ruled that having sex with incapacitated women is rape. Rape and Sexual Assault does not require a beating, ripped clothing and bruises. Blaming the woman for men helping themselves to them when they are not in condition to give consent is why most rape victims do not report their sexual assaults. The victims are conditioned by society to put the blame on themselves. I know exactly what I am talking about, so we will have to agree to disagree.

For the record in the case of what Nick did, Brooke was suffering from PTSD in that moment... PTSD causes people to do things that they have no control over.. Like she said, she was not sure what happened to her. She took the blame instead of blaming Nick. It was her way of trying to figure out what happened and coping with the trauma around her. She had no control over what happened in her life and by blaming herself it was a way for her to make sense of the trauma. I loved Bricky, but I will not sugar coat what happened. Again, I know what I am talking about so we will just have to disagree.
