That's how they chose to end RS' run. I'm glad they didn't kill her off and that we got to see Quarter deliriously happy but that's a slightly anticlimactic ending. I guess it leaves the door open for a recast. If they do recast the role I'm not sure they'd be able to recreate the crazy chemistry between RS and LSV. Whoever gets the role would have huge stilettos to feel. For now though Quinn exists in absentia. Thanks for the memories Rena. You were phenomenal and the reason Quinn was my favorite character.

Also if Rena left because of lack of story why would they recast? I guess it could be short term to finish off the story.

Well, that's because Bridge is a decades long staple of the show and Brooke's fanbase is enormous. When I said different direction, it's the return of Sheila and Taylor, Tridge vs. Bridge, Forresters vs. Logans, and Sheila as the villian. Quinn, unfortunately, was collateral damage.
