Well Ridge neglected Thomas once

When he was married to Caroline, thought Thomas had raped her, and lied about Douglas being his biological child. Other than that, he’s been extremely dedicated and loyal to his children even when they were wrong. Ooops! I forgot. We’re supposed to pretend that things like that never happened.

I call that being right on the money about Thomas the rapist. (My opinion that he raped Caroline.)
I will never forget that Ridge said something about what Thomas had done back in Paris. It was the reason Ridge was so offput by Thomas, but we never found out what that was. Then Thomas wants to punch his father and then he wants to take advantage of the interns and then he wants to take advantage of the drunk and drugged Caroline.
Thomas, the firestarters and bomb setter, has always had issues.
