Where's the biology in that?!

I understand that but my point is to Eric, Ridge is his son in every possible way other than DNA. That is why everyone else in his orbit accepts that Ridge is his son and therefore a Forrester.

Hope considers Douglas her son and part of her family in every way including referring to Beth as his sister. And Hope did not raise Douglas from birth.

Li considers Finn her son in every way – she said to Bill, “in every way that matters.”

I understand about DNA but I don’t know if that is what makes someone somebody’s child. That would support the idea that most people on the board have that Douglas should remain with Hope and Liam and not with Thomas. I feel differently not because of DNA but because Douglas has expressed a desire to be with his father at least for now and as a preteen boy I think it might be a good idea to be with his father for now. See how it goes. But I digress ….

I agree with just about everything.
Don't know if I missed it but I didnt hear Douglas say he wanted to be with his dad and not Hope. I thought he wanted to spend more time with him and was wondering if Thomas ever thought about him. Why wasn't Thomas spending more time? Hope doesn't turn him down to be with Douglas.
JMO, but Douglas looks about 10 not a preteen.
