I am not sure if she lost her virginity to Rick,,, I do not remember it in the dialogue. It could have been a rewrite but when she came back from school she bragged to Marcus about her sexual experience while she was tramping around Europe.. There is also nothing in the recaps that claim that Rick was her first. Usually when the writers have a virgin they make a big deal about it. For instance, Brooke, Caroline 1, Gabby, Aly, Katie, Hope, Bridget, Jessica, James, Thomas, and Phoebe were clearly virgins when they appeared on the show and talked continuously about . . The writers created major storylines around losing their virginity. Steffy and Rick story was not about her losing it, but about them hooking up and causing problems with Ridge and Taylor ad killing off Phoebe. I do not think a show would have a young woman coming on and bragging about their promiscuity and then turn around and making them a virgin. When Steffy came to town she was clearly worldly and experienced in the art of seduction.

The writers made it clear from the start that the twins were complete opposite. It was Phoebe who was the inexperienced virgin who loved to give mixed signals and expected Rick to be there when she returned from her musical tour. She was not mature enough to understand that a grown man would satisfy his needs elsewhere.

I could be wrong then, but I was so sure about it. That's what Rick used to brag to Ridge, that he took his daughter's virginity. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong though.

Steffy wasn't always like this though. I found her quite sweet in the beginning and she and Marcus had a great relationship. He was quite heartbroken when she dumped him for Rick. And her and Kyle Lowders Rick were in my opinion one of the best, if not the best, couple on the show. I've never loved a couple on the show more than I loved those two together. Her Logan vendetta started later.

Just to make sure I was correct, I went through the transcripts from the time right before they slept together and after Taylor played the recording that Ridge made and there was nothing to indicate that Steffy was a virgin... It was Tattle Taylor who ran to Ridge and told him they slept together.

I do believe that Rick was in love with Steffy. What he bragged to Ridge about was the fact that he owned Steffy (tasteless) and that he picked out the same spot Ridge married Brooke to tick him off. He did rub it in Ridge's face that he was going to continue to have sex with "his daughter" and she was going to enjoy it (similar to how Deacon screwed with Eric over Bridget in a crude and vulgar way). Maybe this was so similar to Deacon and Bridget that you thought it applied to Rick and Steffy as well.

He even rubbed it in Taylors face about how much he loved her but she used him and tossed him aside for Ridge. He basically told her that if she was patient, then hopefully Brooke would dump Ridge and then she could have him and they both would get what they wanted. Then we have all the things their unstable son did to him and the lengths they were willing to go through to protect his criminal activities. Rick was also angry that they would allow Pam to sit in jail for crimes that their brat committed and taunted Ridge with "I own your ass and Steffy's too" in exchange for Thomas' freedom. I honestly believe that Rick was in love with Steffy and at the same time wanted revenge from TTR.
