So it doesn’t bother me as much. Douglas raised the issue. I don’t think Thomas should be rewarded for his machinations but it’s clear Douglas misses his dad. It is so normal for preteen boys to want to bond with their fathers

Living with you own son isn’t a reward it’s just normal
Hope sent Thomas away and Douglas was disappointed. She didn’t want him to overhear bc he obviously could ask to live with his dad
She loves Douglas but her love is selfish.
Douglas obviously misses living with his dad, like he did after Caroline’s death.

It is a reward given everything Thomas has done in recent years including abusing his own son.
And there's nothing selfish about her love for that child. She was just caught off gaurd today cuz she wasn't expecting Thomas to just come right out and told Lope that he made a decision for Douglas to live with him full time. Thomas could've at least give Hope headsup before today, but he didn't.

Heuh … Thomas must ask permission to talk about his own flesh and blood ? I don’t think so.
He didn’t make a decision he s considering the future… according to HIS son s needs NOT Hope’s

Douglas said he didnt want to live with Hope? Or did he say more time with his dad? Last I knew Douglas loved Hope very much, if that is changed, I agree.

Douglas can love Hope but want to live with his dad to spent more time with him.
