Why, re Douglas

I really dont see what difference it makes, who has custody of Douglas. That child is always being kept by someone else. With the babysitter, on a sleepover or somewhere other than home. So why cant he be with Tom and then Hope can visit him. Why is this a big deal when as soon as this is settled, lil Doug will be back burned again. Why cant they write a storyline for Liam and Hope. Anyone have any ideas for them that would be interesting?

I agree it's dumb. I am hoping it doesn't turn into some big custody case.
Maybe it will lead to them trying for their own child. An infertility storyline could be interesting and show their strength as a couple.
Hope could decide to leave Forrester and start her own line. They used to do stories like that all the time. It would be interesting for fashion to be a part of the story, even if fashion shows aren't possible right now.
