It’s a tool they have become addicted to. When there’s nothing else to do, they pull out Brooke and Ridge.
They are (Brooke and Ridge) a boring couple that have never had a happy ending, whether it is Ridge marrying
Caroline after having Brooke to move in with him, or toying with Brooke while marrying Taylor. It's a couple that never really got to first base.
