Why would anyone care she is dating Jack?

It frees up LI for a Lill pairing. I like NM and think she's a heck of an actress and hope she stays around.

According to what Jack told Taylor and Thomas, Li hasn't spoken to him since he told her about Sheila being Finn's mother. If that's the case I don't think she will reconcile with him, especially not after Sheila almost killed both her and Finn. I think Li would be free for Bill without having Jack date Bridget. I'd love to see Bill and Li together as well. I think they'd make an awesome couple.
