Strange about Li
The core group really has no life outside of their family and they work in a family business. Who on this show truly has a friend. Not a work acquaintance, but a real friend. Brooke, Taylor, Steffy, Hope, Liam, Wyatt, Dollar, Eric? At least Quinn had Shaunna, Thomas had Vinny. I cant think of any others, can you?
Well, we're supposed to believe Ridge and Carter have been friends since like forever, even though Carter has only appeared in the Forresters' lives in 2013 and we have never seen that friendship actually develop on screen. They hardly had any interaction in Carter's first few years on the show but then Bell suddenly had them call each other best friends.
The last true friendship I remember where the characters were shown becoming friends on screen (not some old friend from the past suddenly showing up that we had never heard about before like Shauna or Vinny) was actually between Hope and Caroline Jr.
And Hope was also shown around her high school friends a lot in the Brooke/Oliver storyline.
