The show goes overboard with tricks and traps

I remember a time when the plots and plans of villains would backfire. I’m surprised soap writers don’t use that as a way of not painting characters into a corner. If more plots backfired, it would not only be funny, but we would get to see the villain in a frustrated state and they would have more longevity. KB does a great job of playing a frustrated Sheila.

This is what I absolutely loved about Santa Barbara. Keith (Justin Deas) and Gina (Robin Mattson) were my favourite villains. Their schemes always inevitably blew up in their faces but there was always humour attached and very witty repartee. They were always very entertaining. Robin Mattson played Sheila's sidekick Sugar on B&B when Sheila kidnapped Ridge on Bridge's honeymoon in Puerta Vista?
