All police departments in L.A. should be combing the neighborhoods looking for Sheila.
And Mike too. They can't help but know he was the one who helped her escape. And it is a crime in the first place that someone with his background even passed the mustard test to be hired as a guard in first place.

So now at end of program today Finn does have his eyes open and realizes it was his mother who did the shooting.

Now we will go through the rest of this week and probably more of her telling him over and over that it was an accident, she loves him, blah, blah, and she will bring him back to health, not have to go to hospital, etc.

Hurry up, Li, and show up.

I mean, LA is huge, and she hasn't gone anywhere. Most people get caught attempting to flee. She has been locked up in Li's house the whole time. They said Li's house was out of the way and hard to find. The police dept has limited resources and still has to handle all of the other crimes happening in LA. They aren't going to go door to door unless they have reason to believe she is in a specific neighborhood. Of all the ridiculous plot holes in this story (and there are a lot), her managing to evade the police is not on the top of the list.

I don't think Mike was ever convicted of anything, and he hasn't seen Sheila in decades. It is entirely possible he has worked in prisons for years without any issue. Lots of people with sketchy backgrounds work in prisons. It's not like people are falling over themselves trying to get these types of jobs.
