Eric never loved Quinn and Carter doesn't love her either

Eric fell for her right after the Adam gate. He loved her until didn’t anymore. For me Eric is inconsistent. If he could forgive her for the criminal things she did, I don’t see why he was completely turned off by a little scheming. The explanation would be he started lusting after Donna and the whole ED issue, the fact that he was ok with Carter sleeping with Quin, it was only because he didn’t want to recognise that he wanted another woman

Actually, Quinn promised Eric from the get go that she's a "changed woman" and that she's "not that person anymore"..and that's part of the reason Eric fell for her because she made this promise. Their sex life was fine until she broke her promise to him..and shown on screen he even warned her not to go back to her old, scheming ways, yet she purposely ignored his wishes and schemed against Bridge anyway. That's why Eric became so turned off by his witchy wife..and couldn't make love to her anymore.
