What does Li hold against the Forresters?

Maybe it's because I'm a newer fan, but why does Li seem to hold some grudge against the Forresters? Did she have problems with them in the past?

The Douglas/Hamilton clan is just awful. They lie, cheat, blackmail, kill and steal. Li is smart to not want her son married into that mess. But, he has a son with one of them, and he should be a father to that child. He will be the only good influence the kid will have.
