JMW commenst on the possibility of Steffy forgiving Sheila (General)

From soaps.com:
While Steffy didn’t actually kill Sheila, she certainly would have and felt no regrets in the aftermath, when she believed that to be the case. Although Sheila claims to understand what went down that night, should Steffy be worried about the older woman’s interpretation of events? In other words, Sheila can’t be terribly thrilled about the fact that Steffy practically celebrated her supposed demise!

“Honestly, Steffy gives no… ” starts Wood, stopping herself before backtracking slightly to perhaps choose different words. “I mean, Steffy could not care less what Sheila thinks, feels or interprets!”

What truly pushes Steffy’s buttons, according to her portrayer, is Finn seeming to think they should roll out the welcome mat for Deacon’s bride-to-be. “Steffy is floored by Finn’s sentiments toward the woman who shot and left them both for dead!” declares MacInnes. “Why doesn’t he understand that Sheila is incapable of true remorse or love and is very dangerous?”

That said, people change. Surely at some point, Steffy might be able to look at Sheila and see in her what Finn and Deacon do. Is forgiveness possible? “Not in this lifetime,” insists MacInnes.

I am not a Steffy liker but I understand why she cannot forgive...she and her husband were shot, nearly died, her children could have been orphaned by this woman, there´s no way this can ever be forgiven
She still should thank her for saving Kelly, but Kelly would have lost her mother if Sheila had her way. So there can not be a relationship between Steffy, her children and Sheila.

Sheila tried to murder half of Steffy's family. That is more than enough to not want her anywhere near her and the kids. And that was before Sheila came back and tried to force herself again in the lives of her victims, adding more victims to her list in the process

I consider telling someone how they are supposed to think and feel mental abuse. That would make Steffy the #1 abuser.

What just happened with the Sheila/Sugar storyline is only the beginning of Sheila's redemption in my opinion. It will take more than this for Steffy to really forgive, and Brad Bell will come up with whatever it takes if Sheila is to stay on canvas. The only storyline I can think of (and it's been done time and time again in soapworld) is to have Hayes get really sick and need some type of organ or other bodily donation and Sheila is the only match. The forgiveness will come if Sheila makes this type of sacrifice, or at least it should. I'm sure there are plenty who won't agree, but that's just my take. Heck, the way soaps work, they may all be gathered around the Christmas tree together, and fawning over each other come December 2024.

Yes, I agree. We all know that Steffy's favorite thing to do is tell everyone what they should think and feel.

Steffy gave Finn a choice:Sheila or her.He lied to her and blindsided her. What Finn did is emotional abuse not what Steffy did.He took Steffy's choice away form her with his lying and blindsidng.Steffy always gave him the choice. She sure isn't supposed to compromise with her and her kids's safety for anyone.Steffy told him what her limits are, what the deal breaker is for her.And before signing then marriage license. He knew where she stood where Sheila is concerned.

Lol. Steffy is a hateful witch who holds forever grudges..so, IF she finds some kind of forgiveness, it would either be fake or temporary!

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.

I agree 100%. There is no reason in this soap opera lifetime for Steffy to be expected to accept Sheila Carter. This is the woman who shot her, her husband and members of her family. It doesn’t matter that Steffy herself or her mother or her brother have shown tendencies towards violence, none of that matters if they’re victims are stupid enough to be a part of their lives that’s on them. Maybe Steffy has more sense than they do. When I say I can’t stand Steffy. That’s real, but she has every right not to accept Sheila Carter in her life.

Yes, what a witch!:rofl My point was she holds forever grudges in general..NOT just on Sheila. This hateful witch hates the Logans so much she actually declared a war against them.:drunk Even with Ivy recently, she was still so childish and rude because of her hateful nature.:rofl

But what about Will?..... Her own mother shot Bill in the back and left him to die. She could have cared less that Will would have lost his father. However, Steffy expected Bill to forgive Taylor..... What about Aly? Once again her mother killed Darla, she covered up her crime, and went on to seduce Darla's husband. Once her dirty little secret came out she expected Thorne to forgive Darla's killer and for Aly to get over it and forgive her. Steffy herself killed Aly and expected Thorne to forgive her.

I expect Steffy to shut up and just leave Shelia alone. I am completely over Steffy and her nonsense. If she had just listened to Finn and not stalked Shelia, then Shelia would not have shot Steffy.

Exactly. But this is typical Steffy with her me me me attitude..it's only about her feelings that mattered because the world revolves around this twit only. Like you said, Will could've lost his father forever because crazy Taylor, but Steffy couldn't careless about Will. Only her feelings and covering up her mother's crime counted. This hateful shrew has no empathy for anyone else at all.
