What goes around comes around (General)

Ridge has two of these things under his belt. One with Caroline and one with Brooke.

But he was painted as the hero of the show despite his behavior to Caroline, a rape victim prior to this incident.

He undermined Thorne and Caroline’s marriage at every opportunity, with zero respect for the institution of marriage, as if he had ownership rights to Caroline because he was with her first but couldn’t keep it in his pants long enough to wait for the marriage she wasn’t ready for just yet (this was all after the botched wedding) and she leaned on Thorne and grew to love him.

But the show wanted her to only want Ridge so they never gave Tharoline a real chance. We didn’t even get a honeymoon scene and that was Caroline’s first consensual sexual experience.

The show was so centered on Ridge that it was clear Thorne was just a prop to him.

Regarding Brooke, again Ridge was rewarded with the woman because even though she loved Nick at the time, she eventually wanted Ridge over him.

Thomas also has an incident like Zende’s with Caroline. Like Ridge, he was rewarded.

And Eric had sex with a drunk Brooke who didn’t remember it and he was rewarded for that with Bridget.

I agree.

I was shocked by how many comments in that episode on YouTube (the Ridge one) were cheering Ridge on and calling it hot.

Ridge knew Caroline thought he was Thorne. She said, “back so soon?”. She would only say that to her husband.

But, we see what happened there. Ridge was rewarded with Caroline’s love while also having Brooke. Thorne was dumped and treated like crap.

That episode was what turned me against Ridge, and I have not really like him since. I hated how Stephanie and Eric shrugged it off as a prank when it was actually rape. It was as if neither Caroline nor Thorne really mattered to them. Stephanie's obsession with Ridge just seemed unnormal to me.
