Steffy is so obsessed with Logan vs Forrester vendetta that willfully and happily destroyed Hope's life and Douglas's right along with it. She feigned the concerned sister act with Thomas but with everyone else and with every opportunity she did nothing but attack Hope and Brooke. She was able to successfully manipulate her brother into believing he was 100% right that Hope should've married despite them only being in a relationship for 3 MONTHS. Now Douglas's world has been blown up but Steffy doesn't give a damn. He's just collateral damage in her assault on Hope. This is sickening but I know Thope will rise again. This split, which has Steffy's nasty little fingerprints all over it, will only be temporary.

If she would would genuinely care for Douglas she would never suggest that he should be taken away from the only mother he has. She knows that despite Thomas trying his best there were times when he totally failed as a father. He ran off, he abused Douglas emotionally and he just isn't the most fit parent around there. Hope is Douglas's safe place, but Steffy doesn't care because the Logan hate is life. Instead of being grateful to Hope that she stepped up and took care of Douglas she hates her even more for it.

That's right. No one forced him. He WANTED to leave Hope. For the first time since MA got on this screen, Thomas starts looking out for his mental well-being over his obsession with Hope! But Steffy is the bad guy for helping her brother pick his dignity up off the floor.
Ridge saw it as "getting through" To Thomas, not manipulating him. Ridge, the guy you praised for promoting Thope.

Ridge was pretty much useless this week. He stood by and watched his daughter attack his fiance. I just don't understand how this relationship became all about Thomas. Hope has been honest with him from the start. Things progressed from hooking up to a situationship to a committed exclusive relationship. It's not as though never knew where he stood.

He's useless when he's not advocating for Thope. But he gets praised when he is. 
Thomas said things progress. He wants to progress. She doesn't. He has a right to leave the relationship. I don't get why you think he doesn't.

Of course there was. Steffy is an opportunist. She played on all of Thomas's insecurities and told him what he wanted to hear, and convinced him he was right all to suit her anti-Logan agenda. That's textbook manipulation.

I'm pretty sure what he wanted to hear was what you said you would have told him if you were his friend. I'm sure he wanted someone to talk him into staying with Hope. Steffy, however, told him the real deal. Bravo!

None. Thomas has always been aboard the Logan hate train, sans the Hope car. He even told Steffy today to stop attacking Hope. He is capable to listening to Steffy and breezing past the parts he doesn't agree with.

So Thomas isn't capable of making his own decisions? How long should he wait for Hope's decision? One year? Five years? How long is Douglas expected to go on watching his mother not wanting to make an official, legal family with all of them even though she "claims" to love Thomas?

Wrong. For Thomas and Douglas, it's been 7 years. I think Douglas even told Hope as much, but I have to listen again. No one can take away or invalidate their feelings about the last seven years. Hope was a horrible mother to be so flagrantly cavalier about this in front of Douglas, knowing how much he wanted it.

He just knows that his parents really liked each other and were spending a lot of time together. It gave him hope that they could finally become an official family.
If processing her divorce was so important to her she shouldn't have hooked up with Thomas for at least a year. You don't process it by jumping into someone's bed the day after you got dumped.

Steffy did not manipulate Thomas. Today in front of everyone Thomas told Steffy to stop attacking Hope. He does not share Steffy’s opinions of Hope. He has his very own brain and he used it to think about where Thope relationship was going after she turned down his proposal again. He wanted to be “building a foundation”, not “going steady”, and Hope couldn’t even say that was what she wanted too. The split is on Hope herself, not Steffy. She couldn’t give Thomas what he wanted.

But Thomas is not a mannequin or some sort of zombie that takes orders from Steffy. He fully realizes Steffy dislikes and attacks Hope,..he told her to stop that today….so he’s not blindly following her. If he is Hope is better off without him.

Thomas looked quite uncertain about what to do and Steffy pushed her agenda everytime she had a chance. The most disgusting thing was her gloating over a mother and child being separated. This isn’t just about Thomas, she wanted to make sure Hope suffers and loses her beloved son too. How anyone thinks Steffy is a redeemable character is beyond me.
