Not for me. The show has had to do way too much throwing under the bus. I literally dislike every character on this show but Brooke, Eric, and Donna. I do not feel sorry for Thomas or for Hope. If anything, the show proved how toxic the relationship is.

It made my skin crawl.

Mine too. The show should've never went there in the first place! So gross and wrong on so many levels!

It's making me respect Thomas. That's about it. And let me just mark for the record that the respect it completely situational. I'm never gonna be onboard with Thope, though, if that's what you mean. Never ever ever.

I think that was the goal. I am fine with Hope forgiving Thomas irl it would never happen, but on a soap, I can take it. Thomas was obsessed with Hope. That is a fact. Obsession doesn't just go away. You can't put someone with someone they were obsessed with and expect it to be just like any other relationship. The only way Thope could ever work is if Hope was the one that wanted it most.. And you could see Thomas's fixation on marriage and his obsession for Hope was still there. It was a toxic situation. No matter how much chemistry they have or how good they look together.

I am glad they chose not to have Thomas go off the rails, and instead, he came to the conclusion that he can't be with Hope. That, to me, is evidence of a change in Thomas.

Hope needs to go to therapy and focus on herself and her kids.

Yes, and Thomas needs to go to Europe and detox from Hope. It's the only way.

These are not the only reasons that make a pair rootable or viable at all imo. Takes a lot more than that..takes a lot more than just sex scenes. And personally, I found them awkward and forced..but that's just me.

Not about being a Thope loather....I will always loathe them as a couple. Their paring was an abomination from the writers IMO. It transcended even the decorum of soaps, they wrote a mother being sexually turned on and cheating on her husband with the monster that wanted their baby dead to her forever and ever. And he even physically abused his own son, which is her son too. The show thinks in terms of weeks, but viewers watch remembering everything that led up to each shock and awe moment. If Tom had gotten his way, Beth Spencer would be dead and Phoebe Forrester would be alive and well, 7 years old, and probably being taught to not like any Logan's.

But today did change one thing for me....I want Hope to suffer now. I was glad Tom left her crying and begging....not on the ground like Steffy, but close. Hope never had to pay for Liam having to watch her make out with the devil in Rome. And Hope did not give one iota that Tom killed Emma, it was a blip on her radar, and nothing more. Hope has not cared at all that Tom stole her mother's identity and used it illegally to ruin her marriage...did not care on bit. If she had she would have stood firm and told Steffy to shut down HFTF if the only option was working with Tom.

Time for Hope to suffer now, to have to look in the mirror and see what she has done and what she has become. Then she can start on "working on herself" and "being changed"

The most self centered thing I heard today was when Hope talked about not being ready because she was getting over her marriage, and trying to discover who she is, and getting in touch with herself....and then she looked at Tom and said...."I thought we were on this journey together".....talk about a clueless self absorbed twit. Tom was suppose to be so grateful to be on HER journey with HER...what about his "journey"....because his journey was to move forward in their relationship and be married and be a family together. But, she was too busy on "her journey" to notice that he might have a "journey" too.

I am a Hope fan, but I also want her to suffer. Not because I think she deserves it for what she did to Thomas... I don't agree with many people that think she did him wrong. I want her to suffer so she can finally put in her empty head that her mother was right and Thomas's obsession doesn't equal reliability and true love. Liam would do so much more for her than Thomas ever did. I want her to suffer because she deserved this lesson after she expected Brooke to accept her abuser as a potential son in law and because she dared to organize family gatherings with Thomas and Beth in one room. Without suffering there can't be growth.

I wish Thomas could have heard what Brooke had said about him. He may have gotten a better perspective on how she feels about him. He thinks she hates him for when he betrayed her years ago (and that is a defense mechanism) but that isn't true. She actually loves those brats, she just doesn't trust them.

To do what....tell him that she will "think" about marrying him someday....so now he can come back to L.A. and design her fairy princess dresses and do her, while he waits for her to process her "thinking" about maybe marrying him someday? LOL.

The end of the show today was her time to tell him she realizes that she does want to marry him, but she just held firm to saying, she doesn't know if she will ever want to get married to anyone again....but hey, I will promise to not drop my drawers for any other man until I can tell you I am definitely through with you.
