Who does that? People actually reach out to these people? Not necessary. They know exactly what we think.

If he is a script writer based on what Bell wants for the long haul, then he is doing a lousy job with that same dull dialog day after day after day. JMO A script writer literally takes a plot outline and idea and turns it into dialog. The script writers on BB are not good.

Ouch
I think he's just being informative and there's no ouch. He's a dialogue writer. BB writes the story arc.

I hate to rain on her parade but the script writing is one of B&B’s weakest elements. Some of the longer storyline ideas could be interesting but the execution is terrible. And when I say that I don’t mean the acting.
How often does the viewer hear the exact same dialogue and conversations multiple times between the same characters over days and weeks? Is that not the script writing? Could they not make an effort at letting the characters have deeper conversations so they aren’t just saying the same simplistic things ad nauseum day after day?
For example, use the show’s history and the characters’ histories to pull together the current storyline with past ones. Give characters more in depth dialogue that explains their motivations so the viewers aren’t constantly saying “what the heck? Why are these two characters suddenly madly in love when we’ve only seen two conversations and they weren’t even really talking about anything deep?”
Folks those problems can’t all be laid at the feet of the “long story” crafters. That’s poor script and dialogue writing too.

So true. that is my MAJOR gripe most of the programs is the repetiveness of the dialogue every day.
Back in the day before VCR and DVD's, etc. and more women going to work out of the house, then programs did have to pick up each week and at least sit around the coffee table and discuss issues, without sounding trite and giving us who might have missed a day or two that week to know all the important happenings.
Now you can watch one day a week almost and not miss a thing.
So yes I do not think BB sits there and tells them to repeat, but put in some good, intelligent writing, do not talk down to the fans/audience, we get it. And do not re-write history.

This!
B&B has major problems when it comes to the dialogue and structure of the individual scenes.
Major problems when it comes to showing vs telling.
Major problems when it comes to giving different characters their own individual voice and personality.
And a lot of that has to be achieved by the writers of the daily scripts.

ITA! They had Brooke say for weeks or better months "Why did I drink?"...do they really lack the vocabulary to change the lines now and then?

Not to mention the flashbacks. I counted and in January they had on average more than one New Year's Eve flashback per episode. In that one month, there were 20+ flashbacks of Brooke and Deacon drinking. Is that not the responsibility of the scriptwriters?
"It's not my fault, I'm just the scriptwriter" is a pretty lame excuse.

Maybe the people who are tweeting at her are complaining about things like which couples are together. Those things wouldn't be decided by the script writers. Most of the negative comments I see on Twitter are like that. Why do the Logans always win, and there's no way 'so and so' would be with 'so and so', why doesn't 'so and so' character ever pay for their actions, etc.

That's what I'm thinking too. I totally agree with all the posts saying that most of the dialogue writers aren't doing a good job either, but I think the vast majority of the people tagging her on Twitter are complaining about storyline directions in general and about the amount or lack of airtime given to certain characters.

Yes, that's what I see. Things like, 'Viewers are sick of the Steffy show.', or 'It's time Ridge dumps Brooke', are common on Twitter.
