That would have been awesome. I think the only reason why TPTB did this lazy story was due to budget. If this had been the golden age, they would have pulled out all the stops and done something like that.

It’s time to sell the show to somebody or modify the show dramatically to something they can afford.

But, all the shows work on shoestring budgets. I think Bold has a better budget than some of the other shows because he still owns it. The other shows never have outdoor shoots or things on location. With them adding a new soap, I think there might be hope that they are recognizing daytime still has a place.
