Liam and Ivy

I can't believe we are going down this road again but with Brad Bell, it sure looks like we are.
First, I like Ashley Brewer and the character of Ivy so I am ok with her returning to the show.

The problem I have is with Liam. He has never been my choice of the world's or Los Angeles's
greatest Romeo. Still I know he is no longer with Hope or Steffy (tho he hangs around with her too much so
I realize that Brad and the writers have to do something to keep his fans interested and satisfied.

And before it sounds like I do not agree with co-parenting, I do. I just think he takes it to a whole new level. He is a great father, no one could argue with that. But that is where it should end in my opinion. He lives in one house (where I am not sure now) and he can pick up one child or both children and spend as much time as he can with them in HIS home. He does not have to invent excuses to bring them their favorite googles, blanket or stuffed animal as a reason to constantly drop in on Steffy. Ex married couples have been having great parental rights and visits long before Liam was born. He did not invent the concept. But no parent should have to move in with the other to accomplish this.

Ok, I digressed. Ivy comes back to town, no one knows she is coming and she just so happens to run into Liam at the one spot in town, Il Guardino and plops herself down. She is so happy to see Liam that butter would melt in her mouth. Liam acts like he is taken aback and ah shucks mam, she can't say enough. He is almost blushing and before it is over (after the kiss she leaned over and planted on him), I expect if we could look under the tablecloth, we'd see that he got excited.

Ivy wasted no time taking him down memory lane and letting him know now that he was no longer with Hope or Steffy, just how good they were together and hoping he could picture how that could be again. Do you really think that a pretty, nice girl like Ivy has been back in Australia all this time and not had her share of male companions, even marriage perhaps or has she just been biding her time to get back to dear Liam, the one who got away.

I would have welcomed Liam finally changing his waffling ways and found a new woman in his life. It just would not have been Ivy. Same for Ivy, if she wanted to come back and talk to Eric and perhaps suggest that she could fill Quinn's old spot with the jewelry line and work at Forrester, great. But to throw her and Liam together so quickly after so long, seems like a bit too good to be true.

But if it is going to be Livy, so be it.

Actually, Ivy contacted Liam and that is why Liam told the waitress that he's expecting someone to show up. LOL. Thirsty Ivy on a layover just had to see Liam while they walked down memory lane of a false love story of Livy..conveniently forgotten that Liam dumped her at her cousin's funeral then went home and have grief sex with her other cousin Steffy. Lmao!

You know what was hysterical? The entire flashback of their "romance" consisted of that one boat ride. Because there basically wasn't anything else.

Well now is a great opportunity to give them more meaningful scenes and give them a chance to move forward as a couple but this time with stability and meaning.
