The theory that Sheila was Sugar all along can't be true

I think the woman Steffy stabbed was Sugar and Sheila is alive. Don't know all the details yet but the real Sheila will be back. I have always believed that. But now I'm seeing a lot of theories suggesting that Sugar is Finn's mother and that she was pretending to be Sheila the entire time. How is that possible? The Sheila from 2021-2023 had numerous discussions about her past with Brooke, Taylor, Steffy and especially Bill. She had very detailed flashbacks of when she shot Brooke and Taylor. During the Halloween episode with Deacon, she had detailed flashbacks of some catfights with Lauren and Stephanie. Flashbacks from the 1990s. She told Bill very specific details about Dr Gavin and Lance's death. Sugar appeared on canvas in 2003. Dr Gavin fell off the balcony a DECADE earlier, in 1994. Only the real Sheila Carter could remember those details and produce such flashbacks.

I think Sheila's return will be the final nail in the coffin for Steffy's marriage. Especially when she finds out Finn investigated and still has conflictual feelings about his mother. She left Finn for several months when she learnt he hugged Sheila, imagine her reaction after this reveal. She will go back to Liam, I'm more convinced than ever after watching her last interactions with him. She loves both men, but she is still choosing Finn today because she sees him as this paragon of virtue who hates Sheila and could never have eyes for another woman. Her faith in him will be shattered. Finn will probably try with Hope next. Seeds are planted for a Thope-Fope triangle but unless he can completely forget about Steffy and be a one-woman man, she will choose Thomas. What's next for Finn? A triangle with Bill and Poppy? Ivy ? Katie ? Donna ?

I don't think they are going to pair Finn with Hope, at least I hope not, and not anytime soon. If anything, they will just continue the Liam-Steffy-Finn triangle for a while, with Steffy going back and forth between both men. Steffy's marriages to Liam never last more than a couple of months before they inevitably break up due to cheating. Steffy has been married to Finn for 3 years consecutively. I bet Finn will be pining for Steffy and be alone while waiting for her to come back to him. When JMW went on maternity leave, Finn was already pining. They will likely do the same again; Finn won't forget about Steffy.

Finn told Hope that Steffy was the love of his life and even suggested that she goes back to Liam. How does any of that imply Finn would fight for Hope or have any romantic interest in her?

If anything, Thomas will be coming back to town with a new woman (e.g., Ivy), and Hope will be fighting that woman for Thomas. Ivy will probably be here for Liam. Poppy is Finn's aunt; why would he be in a triangle with her? Katie is with Carter, and Donna is with Eric.

I wonder if they will bring Bridget back for Finn if they go the Steam route. She makes the most sense and would be a natural pairing for Finn as both being doctors. With Ashley Jones getting that Emmy nomination, maybe Bell will be inspired to write for her and bring her back full time for Finn. I enjoyed their vibe when they worked together to save Eric.
