KKL, AN, AJ and JG nominated but not Kimberlin Brown?

How can this ever be fair? Katherine Kelly Lang is overdue for an Emmy but she didnt have a major storyline all year. Ashely Jones was on for just a couple episodes and JG was just on for a few more, they got nominated but Kimberlin Brown wasn't? Love or hate the character of Sheila Carter, Kimberlin Brown does an excellent job and deserves a nomination for her iconic character. This is very unfair.

I love Kimberlin, but 2023 wasn't a big year for her. Ashley was nominated as a guest character. The guest category is probably not particularly crowded. You are nominated from the reel you put together. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even bother to submit. Depending on how this story goes, she could have a lot to submit for this year. I think SK will.

Also, nothing about the Emmy process is fair. I think the process is often more about strategy.

Probably a lot of politics, too. I was watching a thing about Foreigner, who was told they'd NEVER be allowed in the R&R Hall of Fame. SMH So that make me think politics plays a role, here, too.
