that instead of thinking back to that night she is bullying Deacon not to look into it. Steffy isn’t stupid.
That night was weird.
She has had numerous confrontations with Sheila some initiated by her and some by Sheila but none have ever looked anything like this. Sheila not speaking and wearing a black veil. Not really defending herself against her. I am not saying she should have known it was not her but in retrospect i would think something would click.
Is she just avoiding the possibility and that is why she is behaving this way? Hiding behind this arrogant tough girl persona.
Maybe we will get a scene where she mentions those things to Finn and that is why he goes to look for her. Because everyone calling Deacon crazy is getting silly. The body having ten toes is a valid thing. It is a very precise means of identifiction.

In terms of physical confrontations yes but Sheila did go to the house a few times over the past three years.
My point is just that she knows what an altercation with Sheila looks like.

Yes, she knows, but she's also very impulsive by nature and she hates Sheila to the point she admitted that she wanted Sheila dead. So imo, Steffy saw Sheila's face and she saw an opportunity to kill Sheila, so she took it.

It was darkand the intruder lunged at Steffy. Steffy didn't see Sheila's face. Steffy defended herself; she didn't see an opportunity to kill Sheila and take it.

Yet, today she admitted she saw Sheila's face..she knew it was Sheila that she killed. Even on that night, I remember Steffy called her by her name Sheila.

She saw Sheila's face afterwards. It doesn't change the fact that Steffy defended herself and didn't see it as an opportunity to kill Sheila.

I saw Steffy called out her name Sheila and she told Sheila to leave, but Sheila didn't say anything, then Steffy got a hold of her knife and ended up stabbing her.

It doesn't change the fact that Sheila lunged at Steffy, and she was forced to defend herself. Steffy was not the aggressor.

My post was not about she defended herself or not. My point was she called out Sheila's name so she knew it was Sheila that night. You don't agree with me, that's fine.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
