I don’t know anything about this process, but someone told me that you can’t go by what a person did over a whole years’s period of time because the actors and actresses have to put together a tape showcasing what they believe to have been their best work. I would think the breakup of Liam and Hope provided both AN & SC lots to put on tape. As for KKL, I think she may have a lot to choose from as well because that time period would include everything from her being friends with Taylor to her wrestling with Hope about Thomas to RJ‘s return to dating that wait person to dealing with Eric‘s potential death to reconciling with Ridge. She didn’t have one story but she showed up in a lot of different stories so it depends you know what did she put on her tape. I think the most powerful scene was realizing that Taylor was not sincere about their friendship and confronting her.

That could be it. You make a good point. A couple of years ago, KB was nominated, and I wasn't sure what she could have submitted, but then she talked about it in an interview, and it was bits and pieces of things that were strong. It doesn't have to be a big story. That is just what we are used to.
